Queen Anne House Cambridge

Queen Anne House has eighty beds designated for Social Housing. We offer supported accommodation for 16 – 25 year olds for up to a two year stay. We operate a referral process only for accommodation and it will only be given after an interview.

Queen Anne House offers accommodation from bedsit style rooms, of which bathrooms and kitchens are shared, shared flats and self contained flats. As young people develop their skills they will have the opportunity to move through the accommodation securing their own self contained flat. We encourage all the young people to engage in something meaningful, whether it be volunteering, education or employment.

Residents can take advantage of the air hockey and football game. Also, on site are washing machines and dryers supplied at a subsidised rate. A Key Worker will be assigned to each young person when they move into the accommodation block. The Key worker will complete a needs assessment and a Risk assessment which will identify each young person’s individual needs. Through a mutually agreed Support Plan we can help the young people achieve their goals and aspirations. Practical advice is offered to help with move on accommodation, budgeting, employment (including CV writing and interviewing skills), health (both mental and physical), social needs and independent living.

Throughout the young persons stay, opportunities and support will be given to ensure confidence is built and life skills are achieved, which will enable the young person to achieve a positive move on and sustain a tenancy agreement.
