Supported Housing For 16-21 Year Olds

Our Supported housing (HRS housing related support) accommodation is for 16-21 year old, single, young people in need of supported accommodation. The provision is staffed 24/7. Young people can stay in this accommodation for up to 2 years in order to complete their support plan and gain the skills they will need in order to move on to independent living.

The accommodation is 16 hostel rooms in a three story building, each with their own kitchen and shared bathrooms on each floor. In a separate building there is a shared living room and laundry.

If you are in need of accommodation, and feel this accommodation is right for you please phone YMCA Bury St Edmunds on 01284 701697 or come in and see us at 56 Westgate Street, Bury St Edmunds. We will be happy to discuss our accommodation with you and support you in completing an application form and interview.

If you would prefer to apply online and feel confident to do so, then use the HRS Access database. Once opened, click ‘how to apply for housing related support’ then ‘start’. When you have finished the form press ‘save’ the referral will then be processed and you will receive information regarding what to do next.
