The Reparation Service is based in The Cresset Peterborough PE3 8DX however this role is not office based and you will be required to travel in and around Cambridgeshire to include Huntingdon, Cambridge and outlying areas. We also have vacancies in our Peterborough Region.

Job Role

We are seeking to recruit dynamic, motivated sessional Key Workers for our Reparation Service. The work will involve motivating and supporting young people who have been issued Reparation Orders by Courts and Police. The successful applicants will form part of an established team of sessional key workers and volunteers, delivering activities that seek to repair and restore vital community spaces and venues. It is an opportunity to use your skills and experience to change the way young people think about their past, and their future.

Successful candidates should have the following qualities:

  • Passion and enthusiasm for motivating young people
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • A desire to improve local community spaces and services

The work will mainly be delivered at weekends, but flexibility will be important to meeting young people’s needs – so some mid-week work would be available. A valid driving licence and the confidence to work with your own initiative is crucial.
