Providence
Providence is our Ipswich Childcare setting. It’s a purpose built brand new and wonderfully kitted out setting that boasts 3 large size rooms, catering for children from 3 months to 12 years. Each room has a wet play area, their own bathrooms & nappy change area as well as covering all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. The setting has a wonderful free flow access garden where the children can freely access resources as well as play with peers in different age groups.
Providence is based within our YMCA Trinity building in Ipswich but has its own entrance and parking off Wellington Street and is open between 8am-6pm.
Check out all of the fun activities our Providence team have been doing by visiting their Facebook page.

I love the progression that the company offers, with everyone being valued and recognised for their skills. The childcare team work so closely together even with the 6 nurseries so far away, and therefore the support and guidance offered to all staff is excellent.
I love spending time in the creative area, the messier the activity can be the better!

OFSTED Reports
YMCA Childcare Providence was last inspected by OFSTED on 9 January 2020. We received an overall grading of OUTSTANDING.
The inspector who visited said:
“Babies and children show that they are extremely relaxed and feel very safe in the care of the attentive and nurturing staff. They delight in exploring the indoor and outdoor spaces, which are planned with a great deal of thought and expertise.
Children confidently choose from the abundance of rich, varied and imaginative resources that are beautifully presented to capture their interest. For example, they enthusiastically delve into a planter filled with soil and begin to talk imaginatively about making magic potions that give them special powers.
There is a constant flow of laughter and singing, and children remain deeply engaged with the skilful support of the staff. For example, they are inspired to get involved in an exciting and energetic hunt for a bear and talk with great anticipation about where they think the bear could be hiding. There are excellent opportunities for younger children to extend their speaking and listening skills.”
