Residents and staff enjoy “festive” afternoon tea at Gibson Lodge

Residents and staff at Gibson Lodge arranged and enjoyed a ‘festive afternoon tea’. Residents were tasked with decorating the kitchen and tree, and its safe to say they done a fantastic job! They also got involved with baking and managed to make some delicious brownies and scones.

Everyone wore festive clothing and had a great time! (Whilst social distancing of course!)

Although Christmas can be a lovely time of the year, it can also be a very difficult one for some of our residents. It’s little things such as activities like this that can really put a smile on their faces.
