UASC 2022 Residential

Sun, Seaside, fun, Activities and No WIFI

The young residents within the UASC team recently made a two-night visit to the picturesque Kingswood, Overstand in Cromer for a fun filled activity fest.

Although they had to cope without WIFI for two days (a young peson’s nightmare!) they had plenty of things to do to help keep them active.

They participated in an exhausting set of events:

  • Nightline
  •  Aero ball
  • Steps
  • Laser tag
  • Archery
  • Leap of faith
  • Evening at Cromer beach
  • Climbing wall
  • Obstacle course

During the activities, the young people had to work as a team and within their own skillsets by:

  • Communicating
  • Showing bravery
  • Beating potential fears
  • But above all else, having lots of fun

The group really enjoyed their time in Cromer and would definitely like to visit again or to try something similar.

They also got some great feedback from the team at Kingswood with staff being told:

“the site said that the young people’s rooms were the cleanest that they have ever been left in after a residential” and “the dining room was always clean and tidy after meals”

It was an absolute pleasure for the Staff to be part of this residential, building bonds and making happy new memories with the young people.
