Three staff members nominated for Royal Humane Society award
We are very proud of three staff members whose actions helped save the life of a child in care on 2 February 2021.
In a letter from Suffolk Police, Matthew Lewis, Kerry Catling and Tommy Fisher have been commended for their vigilance and professional judgement which most certainly saved the life of a young person. They acted in such an informed, decisive, and personal way.
The Suffolk Constabulary have also nominated each staff member to the Royal Humane Society in recognition of their actions. This is a charity that grants awards for acts of bravery in the saving of human life and also for the restoration of life by resuscitation.
We’re very privileged to have such fantastic staff!
