Residents participate in pumpkin carving competition

On Thursday 31 October, the young people at Gibson Lodge; Sirus, Amanda, Joel and Toni had a Pumpkin carving competition.

They started off the night by picking their pumpkins and choosing their designs. They knew it was a competition so they became very competitive with their designs. Once they had finished carving, the judging was left down to Tash.

Tash decided that Sirus’s design was the best and that Joel was a runner up. Although the girls didn’t win, they still enjoyed the night. Sirus won a free boat trip from the Ipswich Waterfront for being the best design which he was pleased with.
