Resident hits the ‘high note’ with her own music video with help from QAH staff
Before lockdown, staff members at Queen Anne House were supporting one of our residents, Fortuna, with a project of hers – to create a music video. Fortuna has always enjoyed singing and has sung at Eritrean festivals in London etc. She decided to write her own song called “Muqur Qanza” and then wanted a music video to go along with it.
In order to help her achieve this goal, Montana and Elle from Queen Anne House accompanied Fortuna on a day out to go horse riding. The video has now been created and was launched last week.
Fortuna said “Thank you to Elle and Montana for helping me with this and helping me find video content, particularly with the horse shoot! It was a really funny day out and I got exactly what I needed for my video and will remember it always’.
You can listen to “Muqur Qanza” and the watch the music video on Youtube.
