“I woke up on the day of my skydive feeling really anxious about doing it, but as the day progressed I started to feel really excited about it.

I arrived at the airfield with my family & friends and couldn’t wait to get started with it. I had my brief and it felt like it was all happening really quickly. When I headed over to meet with my instructor and to get in the jumpsuit and harnesses, I they then  had to wait until they said my name and from that point I would be getting on the plane within 20 minutes. This is when I started to feel really nervous as well as excited.

Thankfully I had the funniest instructor ever, which helped keep my mind off it. I sat there waiting patiently with my instructor making me laugh and finally we got on the plane to go up to 13000 feet. I was literally bricking it by this point but really enjoying the view. Suddenly the green light came on and the doors opened, all I could feel was fresh air, luckily I was last to jump out. Jumping out of the plane all I could feel was the wind hit my face, and I could see only white clouds around me. The freefall was probably the scariest but when the parachute opened it literally was the best experience ever, the view was really amazing. Finally, I landed safely; I was in shock for a while at what had happened.

Thank you to everyone that helped me fundraising towards this experience. It’s literally a one in a life time opportunity and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.”
