How to Have Difficult Conversations

This course will help build your confidence and skills when raising issues that are complex, difficult and challenging. For example, raising safeguarding with a parent/carer, challenging discrimination and prejudice and managing conversations with colleagues or parent/carer, where someone may become defensive and angry or has mental health needs.

Course Summary

Supporting positive and effective communication skills in situations where the topic is one that may be challenging and difficult. This session explore what makes these conversations hard and offers strategies to build confidence.
