Blinco Grove is the newest of 6 Childcare Settings operated by YMCA Trinity Group.
Our provision opened at the start of 2020 is close to the heart of the City of Cambridge, just around the corner from Addenbrookes and caters for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
Despite the Global pandemic, Blinco Grove has thrived into a popular and flourishing childcare setting. This has led to a growing waiting list and increasing number of job opportunities to join our friendly, fun and welcoming childcare team.

Job Role
Blinco Grove has a waiting list of children eager to join. We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Childcare Manager to join our team in aspiring towards an Outstanding provision and ensuring high quality inclusive childcare is continually provided. This role is room based and will involve supporting the Childcare Manager with the day to day running of the setting, supporting to lead a team in an inspiring way, as well as being responsible for leading the 0-2 room.
The successful candidate will be skilled, imaginative, enthusiastic, have vision, drive and the ability to motivate. You will be flexible, approachable and able to display professional leadership as well as being able to demonstrate knowledge of the standards required by Ofsted.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to be a part of our childcare setting in Cambridge.
Skills and Experience
The job role requires the following qualities:
- Qualified to Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent – this is an Essential criteria
- A minimum of three years post qualifying experience
- At least two years management experience, with strong leadership skills
- A thorough knowledge of current legislation, guidance and standard relating to early years
