Ex Ipswich Town player surprises UASC residents

On Monday 16 December, at UDI we surprised the boys with ex Ipswich Town player Kevin Inglis coming in and playing football with the UASC boys. Kev has been in before and thoroughly enjoys spending time with the guys! The lads participated in some training drills and mini games including a football version of badminton. They finished with a penalty shootout and Kevin was the goalkeeper. All of the boys had a fantastic time and everyone was given a signed item, even a pair of Kevin’s boots! Kevin agreed to come back in January and bring them all training tops which is amazing!

Kevin now plays for and trains Whitton United Reserves and is looking to recruit some of the UASC guys for the U17’S and U18’s teams. He is looking to get them training up at Whitton by the end of January because of the interest in the sport and has even offered a trip to go and watch Ipswich Town first team and reserves train!
