Accommodation staff attend police problem solving conference
On Thursday 7 November, Tash Wightman (Accommodation Manager), Lindsey Bartlett (Senior Project Worker for CYPS) and Kelly Scrivener (Young Person of CYPS) were honoured to attend the police problem solving conference at Trinity Park, Ipswich.
The event lasted the whole day and was an opportunity for the police force to discuss new ways in bringing about long term solutions to crime and anti-social behaviour.
Attendees included officers and staff from Suffolk Constabulary, Suffolk County Council, Suffolk Fire and Rescue Services, the East of England Co-Op as well as other agencies.
During the conference, Tash Wightman alongside PC Jon Stordy from The Gang’s Unit delivered a powerful speech on the work we do and the challenges we face around gang crime.
Kelly also told her moving story of how far she has come and the bright future she has ahead of her.
